Excellence Regulator

The spirit of this Excellence Petite Seconde lies in the Jura Mountains, where Louis Erard is based, surrounded by grass and fir pastures. These distinctive trees inspired the design of the indicators and are featured as functional decoration on the crown, in a subtle nod to Art Sapin - a variation on Art Nouveau from the Jura. The case has the roundness of the old pocket watches, although it is squeezed by a sapphire crystal screen. The matte silver dial recalls the elegant simplicity of the 1950s, but has been revitalized with shifting levels and contrasting finishes. Every detail has been finely crafted to produce an original contemporary result.
