Alinghi - this is the name of the Swiss yacht that, in 2003, became the first European vessel to win what is probably the most famous sailing regatta, the America's Cup, which is held at various locations, and defended her title four years later . The sailing team is also the godfather of two HYT watches. It ranks among renowned manufacturers such as Audemars Piguet and Hublot, who in turn have collaborated with Alinghi in the past. Like all HYTs, the H2 Alinghi is characterized by the combination of mechanics and fluid technology in one wristwatch. In the case of the hand-wound watch, the hours are visible in a capillary tube in which a black fluid is placed next to the clear fluid - well separated from it. The visible place where fluids meet and move along the capillary tube as the bellows compress. Finally, the hour scale further down provides information about the time. The minute is indicated by a classic lever in the center of the case. At "30" it is designed as a "jumping minute", which explains why the "30" on the minute scale can be seen both to the right and to the left of the Alinghi logo.
