From Rome to Romania

A series of elegant dinners and private presentations marked the official launch of Bulgari in Romania. On this occasion, in the last week of October, a selection of exceptional watches arrived in Bucharest to be exhibited in a historic villa that houses the headquarters of Albini Prassa, the Romanian partner of the Italian house.
Both watch connoisseurs and lovers of the Bulgari brand, as well as journalists and influencers, attended the invitation-only events to discover more about the art of Bulgari watchmaking through an experience with representatives of the brand who came especially from Rome, among which Director of High Jewelry and Haute Horlogerie. Ion Schiau, the founder of Albini Prassa, presented the collection to guests who included Domnica Mărgescu, Elle Fashion Director and "Friend of the brand" Bulgari, artists Inna and Alina Eremia, influencers Carmen Grebenișan and Alina Ceușan.
Bulgari's Roman inspirations find a particular echo in Romania, a country with which it shares the same Latin cultural heritage. Guests were generously guided through magnificent stories - from ancient architecture to the dolce vita days and glamorous cinematic flair to the consistent vision behind the brand's success, they discovered the many facets of the Bulgari universe today , as well as the important role of watches with their unique blend of Italian design and Swiss watchmaking excellence.
The most sophisticated pieces from the emblematic collections were exhibited in the refined interiors of the aristocratic villa in the Dorobanti district.
These were the Serpenti and Divas' Dream watches, made by decorative techniques with distinguished jewels, some being operated with very sophisticated mechanisms, being so appreciated by modern women. A sparkling Serpenti Spiga High Jewelry crafted in white gold, encrusted entirely in diamonds, and the mesmerizing Peacock Divas Dream were the stars of the event.
Bulgari collections for men are highly appreciated in Romania, with a rich selection from the Octo Finissimo line being presented. It is famous for breaking one after another all the barriers and world records related to miniaturization and flat watches in the last 10 years, being awarded with many prestigious awards, including L'Aiguille d'Or (Golden Needle) received at the last Grand Prix d'Horlogerie in Geneva, the most important "Oscar" in the watch industry.
The more you discover the great Bulgari universe, the more enchanted you feel. Day after day, the distinguished guests met with wonderful watches that took their breath away while exchanging impressions with their friends. Thus, the interest in the event exceeded all expectations, the Albini Prassa team being forced to extend the series of events by several days and even late into the night.
